Parapsychology is the scientific study of psychic phenomena that exist in human mind. It includes ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) Telepathy, precognition, clairvoyance. For Example suppose an old person died and later his character and behaviour is seen on 10 years old child or a matured person. This dual personality can be referred as paranormal activity.
